Kayani knew she had him. Laughing she pushed his shoulders down with her front paws and stood overtop of him, grinning wildly.
"Pinned ya!" she cried triumphantly.

"Hey! Lemme up!" he giggled as he laid on the ground. Staring up at her he blinked, why did he notice now that she had such beautiful eyes? Shaking off the odd sensation that had come he smirked and tried to push her off with his backfeet.

Kayani fell back onto her back with a laugh, then rolled up. She leaped and grabbed his ear in her teeth and giggled.
"Hey," she said, releasing her grip. "Let's race down the rocks to teh bottom! Last one there's a rotten zebra! Ready, set, go!"
She leaped up and started racing down the rocks with a playful flick of her tail.

"Hey wait for me!" Shujaa called out as he tried his best to keep up with her. "I'm gonna win! I'm gonna win!" he taunted as he ran.

"No you're not!" Kayani cried as she raced after him, trying to beat him. But the rocks of Priderock were not as sturdy as they had once been, and Kayani was far from "careful". As she flew down the side of the great Rock, her paw hit a loose stone. The stone slipped down, and, with a cry, Kayani found herself rolling head-over-tail town Pride Rock's face. She bounced against the rocks until finally coming to rest on the ground. Stunned, she lay there, her blue-green eyes staring up at the sky that was spinning wildly around her.

Shujaa raced to Kayani as fast as he possibly could. "Are you ok? Kayani!" the young prince cried out in concern for his friend.

Kayani saw Shujaa's face above her, but for a moment it looked like he had two heads. She shook her head, and the two images swam back together to create one Shujaa. She smiled up at him.
When did he suddenly look so cute?
"Yeah, I think so," she laughed, slowly rolled up onto her feet. She staggered back and forth, still dizzy. Finally she laughed. "That was fun!" she said. "Except for the whole...rocks bit."
She wondered if there was a hill they could roll down or something. But knowing the lionesses, they wouldn't let them go that far.
