"Sure! Let's go!" Shujaa replied before running off. After a few moments he stopped and began to cough quite hard out of nowhere. Thinking Kayani would be worried he turned to her. "Was probably a bug or something...hehe."

Kayani paused and walked over to Shujaa. She nudged him gently.
"Shujaa?" she asked, her blue-green eyes worried. 'Are you okay?"

"Mhm." he nodded. "Come on, we can keep go-" Shujaa suddenly started to cough more, his chest feeling like it was on fire. Collapsing to the ground he began to writhe in pain and agony. "AHHHH!" he yelled out to the skies.

"Shujaa!!" Kayani cried, kneeling beside him. 'Shujaa! Talk to me!"
She looked downa t him, eyes filled with fear and worry. She was shaking. What was happening to her best, her only, friend?
"Help!" she cried.

Scar jumped on his feet, his green eyes wide as they could be. His son had screamed.
He looked around, then the hyenas quickly directed him to Shuuja.
"What..." Scar approached his son, who lied on his side apparently suffering terrible pains.
Not knowing what to do, he merely watched him, horrified. |

Shujaa's eyes shut tightly as the pain escalated then strangely it subsided just as quickly as it had come. "T..that was scary.." he said laying there on the ground trying to catch his breath.

Kayani whimpered, not even noticing Scar there. She lay down next to Shujaa.
"Shujaa?" she whispered. "Are you okay?"
He looked fine. He had suddenly recovered. He was okay.
Then why was she still shaking?

Scar saw his son close his eyes, and his head shook slowly, unbelieving. No...
But then those sweet green eyes opened again, and Scar could breathe again.
"By one moment I thought I lost you.." Scar whispered, as he lowered his head to softly nuzzle his son.
Turning towards a hyena, the King ordered:

Shujaa's body moves slightly as his father nuzzled him. Laying on the ground blinking up at him he asked. "What happened?"
In a baobab tree not far from Pride Rock there resided a mandrill who served as the King's medical consort, named Rafiki. Now since Scar had come into power the elder mandrill had tried to keep his distance from him so as to not be meddling in the "king's" affairs. Sitting in his tree he was currently grinding powder in a gourd shell for his supplies. "Oh Mufasa, its tough getting supplies here.." he spoke to the wind that blew every through his tree every once in awhile. "So much has changed..." he sighed as he went back to his work.

Kayani looked over as King Scar held his son close. And for once, she wasn't scared of him.
"Is he gonna be okay?" she asked him, looking up with teary blue-green eyes. She sniffed and looked at her friend.

Nuka gets to his feet when he sees the ordeal with Shujaa, curiousity and even worry coursing through his body. "Shujaa? Are you ok?" He asks, padding over.

The Queen was out on her daily walk when she heard what sounded like a blood curtling scream. At first, she thought it was a stranded animal being killed by another. But as the scream ended she realized what it was. Shujaa.. SHUJAA? Quickly turning her body in the direction of the scream, the female lioness started to run as fast as she could towards the source of the scream. When it ended, she thought the worst case senario.-
"Oh don't let it be so.."
She thought silently to herself. Upon reaching the tall grass, she saw a dark figure that was familiar to her. Scar. Finally reaching them, she looked down at her son's face.-
"Oh Shujaa.. Thank goodness."
The female looked to Scar in question and concern-
"What happened?"

"He just collapsed!" Kayani blurted to Zira, not even bothered by her right now. She was too worried about Shujaa. "He started coughing, then he collapsed! I don't know what's wrong with him!"
