"I feel a disturbance..." the elder baboon mused as he climbed down the baobab tree and headed off towards Pride Rock. Eventually arriving, he climbed up. "You send for Rafiki? Give me dat flower!" he said grabbing the plant. "You must be very careful with dis...if a single petal drops to de ground den it will be worthless. Keep da Prince here." he instructed and just as suddenly as Rafiki had appeared, he left heading back to his tree to fix the medicine.
Shujaa had fallen asleep, breathing lightly under the tree. But to his misfortune somebody else had his eye on the cub. A hungry snake was above him. Bringing it's tail down to the ground, the snake coiled up the cub who groggily stared at it. "A bit on the sssskiny side of ssscrawny..but...I suppose you'll do.."
The cub tried with all his might to struggle and call out for assistance, but..he felt to weak to. "Help.." he called out quietly as the snake tightened its grip on the cub. "Oh Hush..there'sss nobody to save you now my little snack..." the serpent hissed.

"They might've been caught in that avalanche, we need to go find them." Bendari says before turning his head to the pup. "Do you know a way down from here?"

Bakari chose not to wait for Dogo's guidance. She left on her own and started walking down the mountain, her paws sinking in the deep snow of the avalanche.
"TO-JOOOO!" She called. "CHAMELEOOOON!"
"Appear at once! I'm cold, hungry, tired, my feet hurt, and I wanna go home!" The hyena continued, but then the echo of her voice returning to her from the depths of the empty canyons, just like it did before the avalanche, made her shrink back and continue the search in utter silence.
After a while of seeing nothing but white, she decided to use her keen nose instead, and soon enough she found the two scents. Seeing as Nala's went to some large and heavy-looking rocks, she decided to look for Tojo first.
Her nose led her to a spot in the snow, which looked exactly as any other spot. She then proceeded to dig in the snow, hoping to unearth a live Tojo.

More paws joined the rescue, and soon enough, sufficient icy rubble had been removed for the adolescent lion to crawl out.
"Boy, you look terrible. I hope you can walk and we don't have to carry you all the way back." Bakari complained. Some hyenas moaned at the thought.
Now where was Nala?

Tojo's back legs scrabbled on the ice and rock and he finally pushed himself out onto the snow. He glared at Bakari after her comment, and finished pulling the rest of himself out of the snow. He stood and shook himself, which made his head hurt but at least he wasn't covered in snow. "Let's find Nala," he muttered.

"Tojo, Bakari?! And my name's NOT Chameleon." Nala said overhearing Bakari earlier at the mention of the name. Just how easily could someone mess that up? Though she couldn't blame the hyena, perhaps Chameleon was her nickname for the hyena for her for now. A rather long one in fact.
Though that was something not to worry about right now. She had been buried under a large set of rocks. Not knowing what the others were up too. Nala could only hear faint voices of the others and paws steps through the snow. Everything else she had no idea what was going on. And these set of rocks, she couldn't pull out herself, they were too strong. She honestly hoped they hadn't forgotten her. No, she had to shake that thought aside, knowing Tojo, he wouldn't let her out of his sight. She couldn't give up this easily.

Tojo's ear flickered to the side as he heard a voice call his name. "Nala?" he said. He glanced over, trying to ignore his aching head. Absent-mindedly, he touched it with a paw. He tried to ignore the blood that stained his paw pads. "Nala?!?" he yelled, hoping somehow she could hear his voice and answered. In this snow, she could be anywhere.

She seemed to pace back and forth in what little space she had left underneath the rocks. Though one voice sounded too familiar, it was Tojo for sure. However she realised that the voice was incredibly close, maybe he was on top of her? "Tojo? Is that you? I can hear your voice!" She called out trying to call to him to assure him that she was still alive.

Would you look at that... of all things, Nala had apparently decided to get stuck underneath the heaviest rocks in all of Africa. Following the sound, the hyenas formed a circle around Tojo, their heads low, sniffing the snowy rock slide below their paws. Nala was right below them.
Sighing at the heavy work that awaited her, Bakari shot Tojo a little glare that seemed to say:
"Will you get off? Please. Thanks." Mistwolf: Tojo looked up at the sun. It was getting lower in the sky. He looked down at the hyenas, his eyes urgent. "We have to get going," he said. "We have to get this medicine back to Shujaa. His time is running out." Without another word, Tojo began running down the side of the mountain, trying not to slip on the rocks.

At his words the hyena smiled proudly.
"Actually, my friend, we have all the time of the world to waste here. A kind friend of ours already took care of the medicine. Didn't she, boy?" She poked Dogo with a paw.
"Oh, and you wouldn't believe WHO remembered the name of the medicine when nobody else could." Bakari bragged on, signaling at herself with a paw.
Meanwhile the other hyenas were seeing how to lift the huge rock that kept the Princess captive.

Rubbing where the hyena had poked him, Dogo smoothed his fur. "My name's not boy...it's Dogo." he replied back with a small pout on his face as he sat down.

"Just...get this rock off her sowe can get back!" Tojo growled, suddenly very uneasy. He felt like something bad was happening. Or about to happen. Or.... Ugh! he thought, exasperated. We have to get back to Priderock! I know it! "I don't care if that bird did take the medicine back. Something's happening. I know it."

Bakari shrugged and went to obey. Why was Tojo so impatient? He as beginning to sound like Rafiki with all this sixth sense premonitions and whatnot. Bakari did not like Rafiki. He had hit her enough times with that stick like for her head to start hurting every time she thought of him.
Anyway, the rock...
"Nala, stay close to the ground and don't move or we are going to squish you!" She warned the lioness as the hyenas began to lift the rock.
All worked together raising the stone onto its edge, using their heads quite literally, and straining their necks to have it fall soundlessly on the snow.
"There!" Bakari announced. The princess was now free.
Next time we could use a paw, Tojo... She mumbled in her thoughts as she walked besides the King's adviser.

Tojo didn't even realize Bakari's annoyance. He was much too ill at ease. As soon as Nala was freed, he was rushing down the mountain. "Oh, please. oh please, oh please, oh please," he muttered to himself as he leaped from rock to rock. "Let it not be too bad...." Shujaa kept flashing in his mind. What if....? It almost didn't bare thinkging about. But he still thought of it. What if they were too late?
