Staring hard at the group for a few moments he sat there. "Whatcha looking for?" he asked tilting his head slightly.

It wasn't long before she could hear some noise further up, it sounded like those hyenas up ahead. Nala continued up to the path to see the group along with a young pup. She almost felt sorry for it, but realised that one day it would grow up to probably dislike lions. "What is going on?" She asked the other hyenas and looked down at the pup, she was a gentle one knowing how to handle the children at least from a bit of experience with the young cubs.

Tojo rolled his eyes at Bakari's comment.
'Bakari, there is no 'Monster'..." he started, but was cut off by the pup. His ears pricked forward and he smirked at the tiny thing.
"Look, kid, we don't mean any harm. We're just trying to get by so we can find a plant to help out prince."
He knew that wasn't going to get the pup to leave them alone, so he had an idea.
"You know, you could come with us, if you want," he suggested with a smile.
He heard a soft voice from behind them and turned to see a gorgeous lioness come up behind him. His heart skipped a beat as he recognized her.
"Nala?" he said, dumbfounded. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

Dogo stepped back abit staring up at the lions while narrowing his eyes. "I'll let you go...but only cause their here." he replied pointing to the hyenas with a paw.

Nala had heard Tojo's voice nearby as he too tried to convince the pup, but it seemed like things were starting to be sorted out. "After Elena sent me the news of the group leaving, I thought I would come keep you some company. I didn't really have any plans for the day, anyways." She said to Tojo, not wanting to tell the others that they had actually planned a date together. She was sure that Scar would find out and possibly get mad at them, if he did that was.

Tojo nodded to the hyena pup in thanks, then turned to Nala, hearing her out.
"Nala," he said seriously. "This isn't just a day's outing. This could take a while, and it could be really dangerous. "
He didn't want her to hurt herself on the journey or anything. Despite how much he wanted her to come with them, he kenw that if anything happened to her, it would be his fault. And he'd never forgive himself. She still had time to turn back now if she wanted to.

"It'd be best if you turned and gone home Nala, none of us want to see you get hurt." Bendari says as he looks around, seeing if he could spot the plant they're after.

The Monster doesn't exist... hehe... Bakari repeated to herself as she continued to search ahead, oblivious of the appearance of Nala or of the pup.
She looked behind some bushes, but right then the great winged shape of an augur buzzard emerged behind her, and the hyena ran in panic shouting:
"IT'S THE MONSTER! THE MONSTER!!"
Too scared to see where she was going, she crashed onto some of Bendari's hyenas and created a hyena Katamari which went rolling straight towards Nala. |

Bendari hears Bakari's shouts and swings around, just in time to see some of his hyenas rolling in a ball with her in it, he growls before shouting out. "Bakari you bumbling fool! You're going to be the death of yourself AND us if you don't relax!"

Dogo stared at the vulture behind the group that had emerged. "Oh you dont gotta be scared...that's only my Mommy." he said watching as she landed next to the pup and laid her head on top of the pup's. Letting out a few squawks letting her know that he was ok the bird took back off to the skies. The pup turns and trots off up a few feet before turning his head back. "Well ya coming or not?" he called back.

"I can handle myself, I survived the Elephant graveyard so I think I'll be-" Nala was cut off as a barreling hyena came forward, she was knocked over not having enough time to move out of the way. She could hear the other hyenas behind her, how ridiculous this must have been.
"Bakari!? Why do we always end up in little catastrophies?" She asked realising who it was on top of her. Letting out a soft growl of annoyance remembering the other day when she got splashed by the 'tidal wave' she had created along with the inncodent with the chameleon. Was there anything else this hyena had instore for her?

Tojo growled with annoyance at the hyena's, Bakari's, foolishness. He already was upset that he had to travel with hyenas. Bakari couldn't do anything but get into trouble. He sighed and glared at the hyena.
"Get up," he snapped. "Shujaa's health is serious. We have to find that plant."
He looked at Nala, and sighed. She wasn't going home.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
"Glad to have you along," he finally admitted, a smile twitching at the corners of his mouth.
He turned and looked at the hyena pup.
"Lead on, little Leader," he said.
((ooc: I think Tojo has a nick-name for Dojo =) ))

Dogo lead the group up the rest of the way up the mountain telling them stories along the way. "So anyways...then I tried jumping out the nest and moved my paws up and down trying to stay up in the sky when Mama caught me and I went flying on her back." At this point Dogo had probably told so many stories that the group was probably all thinking "SHUT UP!" Just as the pup was about to start another one a yellow plant caught his eye. "Is that it?" he asked pointing to the plant.
