((Lame post to allow everyone to take their respective places in the expedition!)) "So, what did it look like again?" Bakari asked Tojo about the medicine. The hyena seemed almost as fresh as when the journey had started. She was full of energy and incredibly annoying.

((ooc: JJust to let you know, Scar, Tojo is far ahead of everyone else. So Bakari's going to have to run to catch up with him.))

((ooc: Ben & Co. Sounds like a clothing company. ;D ))
bic: Tojo had thought he was alone. When he heard Bakari's voice, his ears went back against his head. He glanced over at her and sighed. Stupid hyenas couldn't remember anything for more than two seconds. "It's a plant, Bakari," he said. "And if you keep talking we'll never reach it."

"Yes let's try to get this thing done already." Bendari says in slight annoyance with the other hyenas.

The group travelled through the jungle, and the scenario gradually began to change. The vegetation slowly thinned out, large rocks appeared, and the ground under their feet began to slant. The ascension began.
Bakari, after a sudden attack of wisdom, decided to leave Tojo alone. But if there was a think Bakari couldn't stand, it was silence.
"It kind of smells like a lion, doesn't it?" She commented after a while.

((ooc: "Sudden attack of wisdom" Lol! So funny ;D))
bic: Tojo glanced over his shoulder, giving Bakari a "You're crazy" look. But as he turned back to the trail, he had to admit that she was right. It did smell a little bit like...... It's nothing, he told himself firmly. He focused on the increasingly rocky ground, and began to ascend the slope thjat would turn into Kilamanjaro.

"It does. But right now we need to get that plant." Bendari says, not wanting to get sidetracked from their mission.

"Bendari is right." Bakari agreed. But she stopped by one moment and looked back.
"We'll get you on the way back!" She growled at the unknown lion, before she bolted off to catch up with the others.
The steep path keept going up and up... it was becoming increasingly difficult to walk it, and large cliffs had begun to appear, towering before the group of animals.
Suddenly, Bakari separated from the group and ran towards a strange-looking cactus, which was a lot thicker at the top than at the bottom, and had a spiky crown of green on top.
"This is a plant." Bakari noted hopeful.

"But is it the one that the monkey described?" Bendari asks, raising a brow at Bakari.

Nala had begun her climb, ever since she had run into Elena back at Priderock. She wondered if she would be able to find the others on the expedition and Tojo. She just hoped that she had the energy to climb up the plataeu by herself, though it would have been nice to see if she had some company with her. "I wonder how far they have gone?" The Lioness thought to herself seeing that she had already gone a great distance as was already.

"No," Tojo said firmly. "Rafiki ordered us to find a....Yellow Spotted Star Stranglevine. Not that...thing. Whatever it is." He paused and looked up the rocks towards the peek of the mountain. "He said it's somewhere near the top." Tojo sighed and sniffed the breeze. For a moment, he thoght he smelled Nala's scent on the wind, then shook his head. There was no chance she would have follwoed them. Would there? He snorted and moved on, determined to find the plant and get it back to Prince Shujaa. Before it was too late.
((ooc: Yes, I totally made that plant up off the top of my head. ;D))

"That's a nice name." Bakari smiled. It sounded like her mother: yellow, spotted, and with a tendency to strangle things.
Bakari continued to climb, her very long legs carrying her light frame up the rocky path without much effort. She would often disappear, going around some rock or in some cave, but she never stayed far behind.
After a while, it began to get very cold. The strong winds tugged at her short fur which had evolved to fend off the strong rays of the sun and not the chilly winds of Mount Kilimanjaro. She decided to stick close to the group of hyenas under Bendari's command then.
"Tojo, do you think the Monster knows we are here?" She asked after a long while of silence. Too long for her taste.
The Monster of Kilimanjaro was a well known legend hyena mothers often used to scare their children into obeying. Although it seemed no more than a tale when she had been in the protection of the Clan, up here it did sound scary!

Unaware to the entire group, a young lone hyena pup named Dogo had been following them. Running swiftly past them he stood in front of the group. "What are you doing on my mountain?" he demanded while staring at the group with a glare.

Bendari sees the pup and turns his eyes to the other hyenas. "Your mountain? I'll have you know we're on business for the king of Pride Rock, besides you're too young to rule this mountain." The hyena says.
