History : Kayani was one of three cubs of a pair of lions who were the alphas of a pride north of the Pridelands. When Kayani was about 3 months old, her pride was attacked by an enemy pride. During the fight, Kayani hid beneath a fallen tree, and remained their, terrified to come out. She hid there until nightfall, and when she emerged, her pride was gone. Her father, mother and two siblings where left behind, though, dead. Heartbroken, Kayani was forced to leave her family and pride, and look for someplace else. She came across the Pridelands pride, and lionesses such as Sarabi and Sarafina took her in. She lived in the Pridelands during the later part of Scar's reign, and knew nothing of Simba or Mufasa. She befriended Scar's young son, Shujaa, and was devestated when he died from heart failure. It was a loss she never totally recovered from. During an attempted coup on Priderock, her friends Tojo, Nala, Sarafina and Sarabi were all exiled from the Pridelands, and Kayani joined them. In the jungle, she grew into a confidant young lioness, and is determined to take back the Pridelands.
Personality :Kayani is outwardly brave, but inwardly scared of being abandoned again. She misses her best friend Shujaa terribly, but is determined to move on, be strong for his sake. She lost her parents when she was very young, so she has had to be self sufficient for a good portion of her life. She tends to be independant and a little soleful, but she can also have a loving side to her as well.
Prominent Trait : Her bravery on the outside, yet hidden sensitive side.
Fears : Being abandoned and left alone.
Goals : Kayani really only wants to find a good friend, and a good home.

Description : Picture is provided above, but Kayani is a light tawny lioness with a cream underbelly and toetips. She has a dark brown stripe that runs down her head and back. Her eyes are bright blue/green.
Markings : Her dark brown stripe and blue/green eyes.
