Name : Scar. King Scar.
Age : adult.
Gender : male.
Species : African lion.
Pride : Pridelander.
Rank : King.
Mate : Zira.
Children : Shujaa, Nuka.
History : Always overshadowed by Mufasa. Always. Before Scar was born, there lived a young prince named Taka. He had the misfortune of being the second born, and thus could only press his nose against the glass as he watched his parents prepare Mufasa for the day when he would rule over everything the light touched. Taka wished he could challenge his brother over the throne or something, but like you know, Mufasa got the lion's share when of muscles we speak.
So there was nothing he could do. Taka watched most of his 'meaningless' life pass away before his eyes, knowing his ambition was impossible. His blue times often led him to wander far from the Pridelands to a place called the Outlands, there he met the hyenas, and learning of their similar situation (banished by the great King Ahadi, the Clan really wasn't going anywhere) they ended up becoming friends. He did try a couple times to prove Ahadi he could be just as good as Mufasa, but they only ended in disaster-- the biggest disaster was the one with Boma. Boma, a great buffalo was bullying over the other animals, and Taka took his superhero cape and tried to stop him... but the buffalo was a lot faster than he had calculated and if it wasn't because Mufasa and Ahadi arrived just in time, he might have killed him.
After that day, Taka ceased to exist. He was now Scar. His appearance, one of the few things the young lion prided over, was now destroyed. Ever since Scar lived like a rogue inside the Pride. He was friends with nobody except Zira, and with Simba running about.. bleh... he knew life didn't have a spot for him anymore, never had. So he lost it; he decided to take the matter on his own paws... he tried to kill Simba in repeated occasions, and managed to murder Mufasa in a stampede.
Personality : Scar is overly preoccupied by his public image. Therefore he depends on his lowly minions for everything because he wants everyone to see him as the fair king he is not. He wants everyone to appreciate him and love him... or at least act like it or else! Even now he feels inferior to Mufasa, and will go in a rage if he even hears the name being said.
Scar is a quick thinker and while he lives with deep regret for what he did, though he does not admit it, Scar is bound and determined to erase any kind of emotion that resembles regret. This revelation is what dooms him of ever finding inner peace with himself. Scar is constantly suspicious of the lioness around him and will not hesitate to give punishment if he deems it necessary.
Prominent Trait : Cowardice. Scar is unable to face anything head-on, instead trying to go around and attack the problem by some other side.
Fears : losing his rank. Dying. Others knowing he killed Mufasa. Anything happening to Zira or Shujaa.
Goals : Scar has not the slightest idea he wants to do with his life; he wanted to be King... check... now what? He tries to hold fast to his rank... and that's about it. He wants to prepare his son to become a mighty lion King after he's gone, but he doesn't enjoy letting his mind dwell in the "after Scar" period, naturally.
Character Development : Scar wants to get rid of every thing Mufasa, including compassion and kindness. Scar will ultimately fall because of his own design. He will become a bitter, empty shell and end up everything he didn't want. Alone, not feared, and a silly old lion.
Description : Scar is abit of a small lion with a very thin lanky body. His fur is russet and his mane is pitch black. The most vivid part of him is his bright green eyes.
Markings : Scar has a scar over his left eye, which was made by a water buffalo named Boma in one occasion he tried to prove himself braver than Mufasa.
