History : Kiara is the daughter of Simba and Nala, sister of the cub Kopa. She is Crown Princess of the Pridelands, and will one day take over her father's kingdom. But after running into a cub named Kovu, she has fallen in love with him, and her position as future Queen is growing more and more murky..

Personality : Kiara is different from her father as a cub in the way that she, unlike cub Simba who "Just Can't Wait to Be King", doubts her position as future Queen, and has been known to say that she doesn't want to be Queen, and it's no fun. Kiara is an independant butterfly, wanting to do things her own way, and gets angry when her father inteferes with her life. She seeks her own path, which is unheard of in the Pridelands, since every ruler is supposed to walk in the pawprints of his father. But Kiara is a tradition breaker. She can be a bit bratty sometimes, abit rebellious, but she can also be brave and courageous. She often acts the ditzy lioness to fool those around her, so she can shock them. Her love towards Kovu can never be broken.

Prominent Trait : Kiara's tendency to break tradition. Instead of doing exactly what is expected of her, she does what she wishes.

Fears : Being alone. Kiara is terrified to be alone, and she also feard abandonment.
Goals : Show her father and her pride that Kovu is different from the mold they place him in, and to make her own path as Queen.

Character Development : Kiara will turn from a rebellious little cub to a smart young lioness, with a heart of compassion, and a passion to make her own way in life, instead of conforming to the molds of the Pridelands.

Description : Kiara's coat is a sort of orangy-tawny color, much like Simba's, and a cream underbelly and toetips. Her facial structure is a little more like her mother Nala's, though she is not as graceful as her mother. Her eyes are a reddish-brown color, and her tail's tuft is dark brown. Kiara is more of a lean and lanky lioness, not as graceful at her mother, but not a completly klutz either.
