S A R A B I;;
Name : Sarabi
Age : Adult
Gender : Female
Species : Lion
Already a Pridelander? : Yes.
Rank : Regular/Former Lead Huntress/Former Queen
History : Sarabi has always been a pridelander. As far as she and anyone else can remember, she was raised there in the Pride Lands. Eventually she came to fall in love with Mufasa, and they became the king and queen. Together they had Simba, the next heir to the throne. Their lives were perfect...
...until all she knew was shattered at the loss of Mufasa and Simba. It happened simultaneously. All she loved was taken at the same instant. Naturally someone had to take over, and that was Mufasa's younger brother Scar. Sarabi was without her family, and now Scar was in charge. Her demotion didn't matter as much as Scar's reign did. The hyenas are running the place under Scar, and Sarabi feels hopeless to stop it. But that won't stop her. She's strong and hides all her feelings from the rest of the lions, especially Scar. She still walks proudly.
Personality : Sarabi is one of the strongest lionesses in the pride. She's often looked up to. She never lets her guard down around the others, even though she can barely hold herself together after the death of her mate and son. Sarabi holds her own, and does not like Scar. She's motherly, and still feels she must protect the pride.
Prominent Trait : Sarabi's strength is her most prominent trait.
Fears : Sarabi fears a total loss of order in the pride, and the idea that Scar might be the king forever.
Goals : Her only goal is to see the Pridelands return to the way they were when Mufasa was alive.
Description : Sarabi has a more washed out, darker coat than the golden coats of many of the lions and lionesses in the pridelands. Her eyes are golden brown and have cream colored patches around them. Her mouth and neck, all the way down her stomach are also cream colored, as well as her paws. She has a dark nose, and dark accents along her ears. Sarabi's body is lean, but strong. She has a strong posture, and holds her head high when she walks.
