History : Zola was raised in the pride. Her mother was a bit of a wallflower. They didn't do anything to draw attention to themselves, and so Zola didn't make many friends. She remembers hearing about Simba. She was young when Simba was born, but attended the presenting of the prince. Zola didn't know him or the king personally, but remembers the Pridelands being shaken at the news of Simba and King Mufasa's death.

Scar took over and Zola knew, even as a cub, that this was bad. It didn't take long for the hyenas to intrude and soon they had the run of Pride Rock alongside their new king. Zola never spoke up, however, and hardly anyone knows her true thoughts about the king. Zola doesn't know her father, but her mother died recently of starvation. Now she's on her own.

Personality : Zola's past -the sheltered cubhood, the loss of a king and his heir, and being raised without a father- could have made her turn out differently. Add to that the death of her mother, and she should be a wreck. Zola's not one to appear strong and trouble-free, but she does know that breaking down at a time when all she knows could be crumbling is not a solution. She tries to live for her mother's memory. She's spunky at times, but mostly she is quiet and tries not to anger anyone.

Prominent Trait : Her loyalty. Zola is kind to most everyone, but she's loyal to the death when it comes to those closest to her.

Fears : Being alone, and the total collapse of Pride Rock.
Goals : Much like most of the pride, Zola's goal is to see Pride Rock return to what it once was. Also, Zola hopes to fall in love.

Character Development : She's a bit of a coward now, but Zola's going to develop into a strong lioness eventually.

Description : Zola has a tan coat that's almost a golden brown in the sunlight. She has beautiful brown eyes, and lighter tan markings around her eyes and down her neck and stomach. Her mouth is the same light tan color and she has tan paws like most of the lioness' as well. She has a dark nose, and the insides of her ears match.

Markings : None, besides a scar on her left paw from falling out of a tree as a cub.
