Alright, kids, I won't bother you with common sense rules because I trust you know them already.
Out Of Character: No swearing, no adult content. Only your best behavior.
In Character: We don't expect much less: again, no swearing, abide by the TOS, no graphic violence, don't do things like powerplaying or taking any IC offenses to heart, remember, the posts are meant for the character, not the person behind the keyboard. No off topic animals. Only African animals allowed. Also, no radioactive neon-colored animals. Only realistic colors will be allowed.
Canon Characters: Original Characters are allowed and welcome, but we would really appreciate it if you would consider taking a canon character. Please don't be afraid! You don't have to post as good as Shakespeare, or as long as Julio Verne.
If you want a canon, you'll need to be active. A post every two days or so is alright. Only two canon characters per person.
Prides: No more Prides, sorry. We are sticking to only the Pridelanders and Outlanders.
Word Count:There is now a set word count of 100 words per IC post, to prevent one liners. Thanks for taking note of this. If you are having trouble we suggest looking up "word count tool" in Google or your preferred search engine.
Spelling and Grammar: We also would like to see you try and spell as well as you possibly can or at least where its still legible. For example: u cannt reed a post leik thiss cann u? It's a tad difficult right? Right. Also please refrain from using text speak in the RP, since it's not where it belongs. Keep it for your phones.
*Update*: Please remember to register your character in the "Joining" section of the OOC boards. Your character MUST be accepted by an adimin before you can begin rping!
Plot: This role-play takes place during the 1st and 2nd movies; only a few years after Scar's take over. We are not sticking to the movie's plot, so feel free to experiment.
Activity: We like our members to be active when they sign up. We personally don't want to see a member join then not log in or post for 3 months or so. We understand that we all have lives outside the RP, like school and stuff, but if you join please try to at least post once in awhile. Posting 2-3 times a week is considered active by our standards.
If you're going to be absent for more than two weeks, post an absence note or we will consider you inactive, and find someone else to take the character, and your account will be deleted. Period.
*Updated:* Most likely, we'll forget that you haven't posted in two weeks. However, if you haven't posted in a long time, we will delete you. If you have been inactive for a long time, and you return (and you're account hasn't been deleted) you are free to pop back in. EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF CANON CHARACTERS. In which case you have no right to "call" the character you played, and take it back from anyone who has it now. THE CANON CHARACTERS OF INACTIVE PLAYERS CAN AND WILL BE TAKEN AWAY AT ANY TIME. No excuses. None.
If you join the site, and in two weeks have not posted a character, not even an original character, we will delete you. Inactive members who don't even try to participate clutter our system and site. And Kovu and I are very good at deleting.....
