Shortly after Scar's take over, a great famine swept through the lands; partly because of the hyenas, partly because of the drought.

Scar's solution to the famine was to have the hyenas travel far and herd prey animals back to the Pridelands. A herd of captive animals is held at the Grasslands, carefully guarded by Kula and the hyenas.

Sarabi has been deranked. By the first time in history, the Pride's hunting team has been dissolved. The position of lead huntress now belongs to Shenzi.

Tojo has been appointed as the King's adviser.

As of late the talk of the Pride has been Prince Shuuja's delicate health. A party has been sent to quest for the medicine as far as Mount Kilimanjaro... but rumors are running of that the young Prince might not live long enough for the party to return...

Disaster! The Prince has died! The whole Pride laments the loss of young Shujaa.

Blinded by anger and grief, the King forbade any cult to the Great Kings of the Past.

After Scar tried to kill her in a great misunderstanding, Zira has gone missing.

The Queen has re-appeared, and what a way to do so! She discovered Tojo's betrayal and ordered the execution of Scar's main opposition.

Sarafina, Nala, Sarabi, Tojo and a few others are all believed dead by the Pridelanders.

In a faraway corner of the Jungle, Sarabi and the exiles have found Simba, the Lost Prince.

Simba has finally realized his place in the Pride, and is returning home to take his place as king! But Scar's not going to leave the throne so easily...

After Simba returned from the jungle and defeated Scar, the evil lion was exiled to the barren Outlands where he bides his time plotting a comeback.
