Bakari fell on Tojo, Tojo shook her off, and Bakari was now lying on her back on the cave floor. She watched the angry lion loom over her with a silly smile and flattened ears.
He then asked her a question.
"Uh..." She began, twisting her head to get a look at the high platform from which she fell.
"Falling to my death." She concluded.
The leopard-spotted hyena then rolled over and got up. Then her grin widened and she licked Tojo's shoulder as a display of her gratefulness.
"But you saved me!" She exclaimed.
"Hee hee ho! I love you Chumvi! You're the best ever." She continued to publicly humiliate him before the whole Pride.

Tojo bristled a bit with annoyance. Had she been spying on him? And now she was calling his Chumvi!?! "My name is Tojo," he told her, annoyance in his tone. "To-jo. Not Chumvi. Tojo. And what are you doing in the lioness's cave? You know you're not allowed in here!" He straightened up,taking on the air of Scar's assitant, which he was. He glared down at her, blue eyes flashing with annoyance.

"I keep forgetting!" The hyena chuckled nervously.
She shrank down when he scolded her, ears pinned, and tail tucked between her legs. However that was only her reaction to Tojo's menacing tone, for when his words were understood by her head, her submission was quickly replaced by foolish recklessness. Bakari sent around a glare at the lionesses surrounding her before straightening up, and with her long neck extended, her head was almost the same height than Tojo's.
"Yes, I was spying." She confessed, but her voice sounded far more threatening than sorry.
"With all the rats and frogs that I've been hearing being spoken about King Scar, I'm sure I have the Trio's full approval on this." She defended herself, and she spoke the truth, for the hyenas were far more interested in their King's safety than in respecting the lionesses' territory.
"You don't want any trouble with the Trio, Tojo." She warned him, angrily remarking the lion's name to let him know that she could, in fact, pronounce it and just forgot. Hm.

That was the last straw. "Get out of here!" Tojo bellowed. He swung a massive paw at her, swinging to smack her across the muzzle. "You ungrateful hyena! I should report to Scar all the times that you have failed to join the hyena's hunt for your silly games! Don't forget that you are talking to Scar's advisor!"

Bakari rolled across the dusty ground, hit by a massive paw. But she recovered quickly and ran off. Tojo could have eaten her a thousand times, but Bakari was too reckless to care. She strongly believed hiding herself underneath the name of the Trio was enough to protect her life from the angry lions -- a dead hyena would send Shenzi into a rage, and Scar listened to Shenzi more than he did to the Pride, we all knew.
Bakari ran. However, she skidded to a stop a little after the cavern's entrance, her dark silhouette crisp against the silver moon.
"You're picking enemies in the wrong side." She howled, before running off for a final time and disappearing in the night.

Tojo panted like he'd just run a marathon. His anger slowly settled as he began to realize what he had done. He'd jeopardized everything. Bakari's spying had been bad enough, but now he had also hit a hyena. That wasn't good either. He didn't know what Bakari would say. There'd hadn't been much to get out of his visit with the lionesses, but he was certain that that might be enough. How could he have been so stupid? He needed to stick around in the pride, and make sure Scar never suspected that he was a rebel! He might have jeopardized every single one of these lioness's lives as well! What teh heck was he thinking? He looked over his shoulder, blue eyes wide in fear and shock. He saw the lionesses standing around him. Many were staring at him. He turned away, unsure what to do. "Tojo?" a tiny voice came from near his leg. He looked down to see Kayani staring up at him with blue-green eyes. "Are you okay?" Tojo couldn't take this. It wasn't Kayani's fault, but everything suddenly caught up with him, still panting, teh young male marched out of teh cave, wishing beyond everything that this night would just be erased.
